You scout out a good place to sleep for the night and settle in. During the night, you hear the careers loudly talking close by. You jump up and run for it. Your muscles are stiff from the cold, hunger, and thirst. You can't move quickly or quietly and the careers soon hear your trompsing through the brush and are upon you. A large girl brandishes a knife and cuts your throat. You collapse on the ground and bleed out.
